The support exists in forms such as financial aid, human resource, and supply of materials that would be used for the construction of the walkways. Inadequate or lack of support will therefore hinder the process. The other factor that may hinder the development of the walkways is resistance from the community members. The community members may resist the development if it causes negative harm to their neighborhoods and living. The team may consider a number of interventions to overcome the above hindrances (Augustsson et al., 2019). One of them is ensuring the active participation of the community members on issues related to the development of the walkways. The other strategy entails the involvement of the stakeholders that will influence the success of the development.
